    Control Purple+ from a conversation in Gemini. Ask it to generate posts, schedule them, send emails, approve drafts, or publish ads — all running in your Purple+ organisation, billed to your credits.

    This guide walks you through the one-time setup. It takes about 2 minutes.

    What you''ll get

    Once connected, you can say things like:

    • "Draft an Instagram post about our spring sale and schedule it for Friday at 10am."
    • "Show me the drafts waiting for approval."
    • "Publish a Meta Ads campaign for the new collection with a €50 daily budget."

    Gemini handles the conversation. Purple+ does the work.

    Before you start

    You''ll need:

    • A Gemini account with Extensions / MCP connectors available. Custom MCP servers are currently rolled out to Gemini Advanced (Google AI Pro / Ultra) and Gemini Enterprise plans.
    • A Purple+ account with at least one organisation set up.

    No app or plugin install required. Gemini talks to Purple+ directly over MCP.

    Step 1 — Copy the Purple+ MCP URL

    Copy this URL — you''ll paste it into Gemini in the next step.

    Step 2 — Open Gemini''s connector settings

    1. Go to gemini.google.com and sign in.
    2. Click your profile (top-right) → Settings.
    3. Open the Extensions (or Connectors) tab.
    4. Click Add custom connector (or Add MCP server).

    If you don''t see this option, check that you''re on a plan that supports custom MCP connectors. On Enterprise, your workspace admin may need to enable custom extensions in the Google Workspace admin console.

    Step 3 — Paste the URL and connect

    In the dialog:

    • Name: Purple+
    • MCP server URL: paste https://mcp.purpleplus.ai
    • Authentication: OAuth

    Click Add (or Connect).

    Step 4 — Sign in and pick an organisation

    A Purple+ popup will open.

    1. Sign in to Purple+ if you aren''t already.
    2. Choose the organisation Gemini should act on behalf of. Every action Gemini takes — and every credit it spends — will be charged to this organisation.
    3. Review the permissions and click Allow.

    The popup will close and Gemini will show "Purple+" as Connected.

    Step 5 — Try it

    Start a new Gemini chat. Make sure the Purple+ extension is enabled for the conversation, then try:

    • "Using Purple+, generate a LinkedIn post announcing our Q2 results."
    • "Schedule that post for next Tuesday at 9am."
    • "Show me the social posts waiting for approval in Purple+."

    Gemini will call Purple+ and reply with a link to the result you can open and edit.

    Managing the connection

    • Revoke access: in Purple+, go to Connectors → Connect your LLMs and click the trash icon next to Gemini. Access is cut off immediately.
    • Re-connect: just repeat Step 3. You can connect Gemini to a different organisation by signing in to that org first.
    • Switch organisations: revoke, then re-connect and pick the new org during sign-in.

    Troubleshooting

    The popup didn''t open. Allow popups for gemini.google.com in your browser, then click Connect again.

    "Invalid session" or "Sign in to continue". Open app.purpleplus.ai, sign in, then retry the connect flow in Gemini.

    Gemini can''t see the Purple+ tools. Make sure the Purple+ extension is toggled on for the conversation. If still missing, remove the connector in Gemini''s settings and add it again, then start a new chat.

    My action panel link doesn''t open. Make sure you''re signed in to Purple+ in the same browser. The link uses a short-lived token tied to your session.

    FAQ

    Is my data safe? Yes. The connection uses OAuth with scoped tokens. Gemini never sees your password. You can revoke access at any time and the tokens stop working immediately.

    Which Gemini models can use this? Any model available on your plan that supports extensions / MCP connectors (typically Gemini 2.5 Pro and newer on Advanced or Enterprise).

    Can my whole team share one connection? Each Gemini user adds the connector individually, but they can all pick the same Purple+ organisation. Usage from every teammate is billed to that organisation''s credits.

    Does Gemini post things without asking? No. Generation, scheduling, and publishing always produce a Purple+ action panel that you review and approve before anything goes live.

    Where do I see what Gemini has done? Open Purple+ → Drafts or Calendar. Every action Gemini takes shows up there with full history.
